At its core it’s just a big Android tablet but it should be a nice frictionless experience and it is.When you open the box, the mounting solutions are obvious and you’re given a template for either the fixed orientation bracket, or the bracket that allows you to rotate the tablet. I chose the latter. It was painless to get the template in place and use the included drywall anchors and screws to install the tablet to the mount, and then the full tablet to the wall.It turned on immediately when I plugged the power cable in. Standard setup process, if you’ve used any phone in the last 5 years you can figure it out. Standard launcher included with the tablet seems perfect for wall calendar usage, and there were some updates available when I plugged it in too, so it is getting some support.Included app isn’t exactly the best but it’s perfectly usable and seems to sync fine. But since it is a plain Android tablet we can just swap to Google Calendar or something too. Home Assistant widgets and everything work fine as well, so I have a home screen set up with light switch toggles etc.Screen is only OK, viewing angles aren’t great, but I’ve seen worse. No dead pixels or anything. Hardware seems to all be decent enough quality, I have no doubts this will last a few years, assuming the software keeps up. And if not, I’ll find out if GSIs work with it or not.

The response time on the touch screen is great and the whole system is very user friendly. It runs on an android system and can be used as a tablet as well. We set the screen saver from google photo so it also act as a digital picture frame. It comes well packaged and two different wall mounts. It is definitely a great addition for our busy family!
