One of the best features is how easy it is to control.

My favorite smart light
I love the Roku lights. They probably have the easiest set up and work with my Google home seamlessly. My last ones lasted years. So I’m hoping that is still the same. The old ones I replaced lasted 4 years. You can drop them and they don’t break. I have children who can’t handle things carefully and these are so much better for them. I can use the app to change the color or just tell google to swap the colors. Makes control easy. They are identical in size but heavy! They look identical to normal lights as well. For the price and how long they last I will keep getting these.

Stopped syncing to app, no cs support
I bought these bulbs to use in my living room. The ceiling fan has open bulb holders making many very bright and no dimming ability. I am sensitive to bright lights and thought I would try these.Used 3 out of 4. Within a couple hours 1 of the bulbs stopped syncing to the app. When this happens they default back to bright white light while the others stay at the settings in the app.Amazon directed me to roku support. Roku refused to help because it was within 30 days of purchase and said reach out to Amazon. Amazon said they could return all 4 or do nothing. I felt this was wasteful since it was 1 bulb. I kept it and swapped the not working bulb for the last one in the box. BIG MISTAKE. I wish I would have returned it for a refund.2 other bulbs stopped working after the 30 day return window. I tried all the troubleshooting options given by roku and had a chat with them with things to do. Nothing worked to reset the bulbs to re sync to app. They stopped responding to help and kept closing my ticket.The last bulb stopped syncing a couple weeks later. None of the 4 bulbs will sync to the app. I have tried resetting them and tried roku support with no luck.They are still under warranty but roku will not replace or refund them.Over all I would not buy again. Roku tv and roku smart home are 2 different customer service companies. The smart home one does not care and is not helpful. Buyer beware. Do not buy these.

Great features for customizing your home’s lighting
This bulb was initially giving me flashbacks to the “hip” tween mood lighting of the early 2000s (blacklight, anyone?), but it’s actually really nice even for everyday use. The colors are definitely fun, though I’m not sure most people would have a use for that outside the odd party. That said, there are a lot of handy features overall—brightness control, temperature adjustment, various preset modes, and a vacation mode are all great for customizing your lighting. It’s especially handy if you’re not a fan of the cold white light that a lot of LEDs give off (you can make this one a nice warm glow).You do have to download the Roku app (worth considering if you don’t want another app on your phone). The app itself is intuitive and easy to use, though. It took me a little while to get the bulb set up initially—the process is simple; I just had a little trouble connecting it to the network—but that also could have been a Wi-Fi issue on my end.Overall, this bulb is probably a bit more fuss than I personally need for most lights, but the extra features are definitely nice to have, and it’s a great option if you like to customize and/or automate your living space.

The app was really easy to understand and connect the bulb, it did take a few hours for it to configure it but you can just let the app do its thing and not have to leave it open or do anything during that process, once it was configured it was really easy to understand how to use it even someone with zero tech knowledge could easily figure it out.Never in my life did i think i would have a need for a light bulb that connected to my phone, but this thing is so cool. You can pick multiple different light settings from cool to warm shades and super bright to a nice relaxing dim shade. The app itself has options to set up a times schedule. So if your like me and have a hard time getting up in the morning and snoozing your alarm clock over and over you can set this bulb to turn on super bright and get you up on time. You can turn it off and on from the app or set up a whole schedule for the week. I love that if im not home and cant remember if i forgot to turn my lights off i can easily check it. I definitely want to stock every socket i have with these bulbs now!
