Nice, But Not as Milky as I Hoped
I’ve been really into hydrating, milky toners lately (think: thicker, cushiony textures), so I picked up the Byoma Milky Toner hoping it would give that ultra-soft, bouncy skin feel. It’s good—but not quite what I imagined.The texture is lightly milky, but not rich or creamy like some other milky toners I’ve tried (like the Isntree Yam Root or even the Round Lab Dokdo one). It absorbs fast and layers well with other products, so it’s definitely beginner-friendly and won’t pill under serums or SPF.That said, if you’re looking for that super glowy, moisturizing first step in your routine, this might feel a bit too light. I feel like it’s more of a hydrating water-toner with a hint of softness than a true “milky essence.”But I will say: it didn’t irritate my skin at all, and I love that Byoma focuses on barrier-supporting ingredients. So if you’re oily or combo and want something light but still hydrating, this could work well for you.⸻Bottom Line:Good toner overall, but not as milky or cushiony as I hoped.
