Finally a Coconut Shampoo That Actually Works
I must admit that I am very pleased with California Naturals Coconut Shampoo. For the first time, I have found a shampoo that is both clean and gentle, and at the same time, it gives my hair a refreshing feeling. The fact that it is 99% natural was a strong point for me, but the biggest and most surprising point was that it really cleans well without taking away my hair’s natural oil.The smell of coconut is gentle, and it is very nice. It does not smell very strong at all, just a fresh and light tropical scent that is very calming during the shower. I have a problem with dry scalp with many shampoos, especially with those that are labeled ‘sulfate free’, but this one has so far left my scalp feeling and being calm and relaxed. There was no itchiness, no flakes, just soft and clean hair.What I love the most is that it is vegan and is free from parabens, silicones and all the other ingredients that I usually try to keep away from. After every wash, my hair feels smoother and healthier. Even my ends feel softer which is not the case with other brands that I usually do not notice right away. It is amazing for both men’s and women’s hair and I believe that it would be appropriate, in the long run, for any hair type.I have made up my mind to switch to this as my daily shampoo and will be trying out more products from California Naturals. It feels good to use something that is not only good for my hair but also for the earth. Highly recommend.

Amazing!
Loveeee this shampoo. As someone who has naturally dry hair, but can never find a mositurizing shampoo that works without either being too heavy, or not enough. This shampoo is amazing. Nice light scent, my hair has never been SO soft and feels so clean. I usually have to wash my hair every other day (wavy/curly girl) and with the buildup and dryness of scalp, I wash often but with this shampoo I can go 3-4 days without washing and my scalp still feels good! Also, it’s a woman owned company! Highly recommend!

LOVE IT
I was looking for a shampoo that will leave my hair soft and smooth without using conditioner, because I sometimes have to take a quick shower and have no time for it. I asked ChatGPT to compare between the one I’m currently using (made in Japan product and leaves hair amazingly soft n smooth without using conditioner) and this product, and it said their ingredients match 85% and will leave the same texture. So I decided to give it a try and boom this is it! I’m so happy that I found this product. This leaves my hair almost as same as the one I’m using. It smells like coconut but not too strong.

paired with the super moisture conditioner and it helps my hair type very well. I have type c hair so I’m not sure how it would do for tighter, more coarse curls. this is with finger brushing and 2 products. the smell is okay, you can definitely tell it’s natural. my hair is really, really soft. my scalp feels extra clean after which is really appreciated as I have an oily scalp. I definitely think the value for your money is there. a lot of brand names I’ve tried haven’t produced as good of results as this brand.

Not the worst, far from the best
Smelled good during the wash, felt good in my hair, made my hair soft and shiny. Unfortunately I’m returning it because unlike my old shampoo, it made my hair feel dry. It was soft and shiny but dry. Also when I didn’t wash my hair for a day longer than usual (washed it on Thursday and then on Sunday), my hair smelled bad and felt oily. I wanted to like this shampoo because it has a better yuka score than my old shampoo and less chemicals, but I just don’t. For the price it’s definitely not the worst I’ve seen but far from the best

Light scent good lather
This shampoo has a nice lather leaving hair squeaky clean. The scent is a light coconut not overpowering. Good price point for a mid range hair product.
