Wow! This chicken shredder is amazing! For over 60 years of marriage and cooking, I have dreaded the task of shredding rotisserie chickens for recipes. It was cumbersome, caused greasy hands & possible finger cuts by sharp knives. In just minutes I had four cups of shredded white & dark meat when I used to have just over two cups because of waste. Clean up is also much easier & quicker.

Decent shredder
Pretty good shredder. If I shred a large breast, not all the meat gets shredded on the first go around. I have to move chunks to other spikes and give it another go. But it does the job faster than i can and is relatively easy to clean.

Where has this been all my life???!!OMG, I love-love-love it!!!! It has cut soooooo much off from my cooking time, that I almost feel like I need to find something else to do in the kitchen for 15min!! Its very easy to use, and takes only seconds to shred a full chicken breast.I questioned the cleaning process when ordered, but now that I’ve actually used it, I can say that cleaning it isn’t an issue – its dishwasher safe. Boom. Done.The packaging was a nice, sturdy, manufacturer box – not in plain plastic wrapping, like many items from Amazon do. It also came with a tiny little stainless fork to use if you need to guide meat away from the prongs (which I haven’t had to use, yet, but I suppose some types of meats can be stickier, like pulled pork).This sucker is a game-changer. And its inexpensive, too….so if you’re looking for a gift to give someone (who does ANY type of cooking using meat) without spending a lot of money, THIS IS IT, and the recipient will forever love you for it. In all seriousness, it is one of my most favorite gadgets ever purchased for my kitchen in a long, lonnnnng time.Happy happy!

Effective, efficient shredder
I was looking for an efficient, hand-powered way to shred roasted chicken and pork. This device delivers! It quickly shreds with minimal effort and washes safely in the dishwasher top rack. The included tiny fork works great to recover edible shredded material from around the rim. The device is solidly built. Unfortunately, the included brush wasn’t especially effective, so I purchased a mini dish brush (B0DXZ6JQF1). The brush length is perfect to dislodge leftover material from the sharp teeth prior to washing. The combination is highly recommended. (I paid full price for both products and have zero connection to either company.)

Aah, this is amazing! Currently, I cook chicken breasts in the pressure cooker, shred them, mix them with cheese and an egg to make an ultra-low-carb pizza base.Previously, I used an electric whisk after seeing a YouTube hack, but I’m not sure how robust my mixer is before it breaks, and it can throw bits all sorts of places if you’re not careful. Then I saw this and knew it was just perfect.I tear a large cooked chicken breast into about three pieces and go to town on it. It’s very quick – 15-20 seconds, and it’s shredded perfectly for a salad. Give it another 15-20 seconds (max!), and the bits are smaller than my previous method, making them perfect for my pizza bases!It’s easy (ish) to clean, just watch you don’t keep stabbing yourself on the spikes like I did trying to get a sponge in all the areas.
