Great Replacement for the GE XWFE at a lower cost
Great lower cost replacement for the GE XWFE. I used two of these in the past 12 months. I have a GE Double Door Fridge that requires the GE XWFE filter which I bought new two years ago this month. I wanted to wait for a year to replace two of these filters before giving a review.I just replaced the second Crystala Filter, and just like the first one I used, works great. Fit is exact, seals with no drips, and chip inside must work because you get no error codes. Several other After market filters that claim to be replacements for the XWFE do not work and will give you an error code. So far Crystala Filters work great. Plus is a more affordable price. I would highly recommend these filters.

Just as good as namebrand
These are a great value for the money. They are a perfect replacement for the namebrand filters and they work just as well. The water quality and taste is just the same as the manufacturers filters and a fraction of the cost. They install the same as the stock filter. I would recommend this to anyone who uses this type of filter.

Works great, much cheaper than OEM.
I was worried that these were inferior because they were so much cheaper and lighter than the original XWFE filters, but I cut one open and it does indeed have a charcoal filter media which seems to do the job. The filter got much heavier after use and I dried it out for a few days after cutting it open, so the filter must have successfully trapped something from the water. Other than that, the RF tag was detected by my fridge and the filter worked as expected.

Works as needed and is cheaper than GE filters
The directions say to line up the arrows, but I don’t even see an arrow on the filter. I barely see what looks like a square with a line so I assumed that’s what needed to be lined up, and it was. They need to make this stand out a little bit more. Otherwise it installed easily and works fine.

These fit my refrigerator perfectly
I was a little worried because these were a compatible water filter for my refrigerator. I unwrapped it and switched it with my old one. It fit perfectly in. My water is tasting awesome. These are a little cheaper than the manufacturers water filters. So this is a 5 star product! I am so glad that I took a chance.

Reliable replacement for much less cost
I bought this to replace the original GE XWFE filter. GE has sent me a lot of marketing flyers and emails asking me to buy the original filter from GE, which is about $15 more. I feel that generic filters from Amazon may just have the same quality. I choose this one from Crystala. It comes in a well packed box. It is easy to install and works great. The chip inside must be working correctly and shows correct codes on the fridge display. I may reorder again if it continues to work properly for the remaining six months.
