Works for the older Culligan under sink filter, bit pricey
This is what I needed for my under sink filter. They are difficult to find, I guess because others are using newer versions. They have a tiny hole at the top of the housing, which shouldn’t be party of the filtration, so the water flows very slowly out of my faucet. They are expensive for just a single filter. I’d buy more if they were less expensive, they used to be much more reasonable but have over doubled in cost now. Mine is in place as a back up filter, as I have whole house filter before the tank, so I’m not sure how much it actually has to filter or how well it works. It seals well with the gasket so it doesn’t leak. I know when my faucet starts slowing down in pressure that it’s time to change it out.Overall, it functions well as far as I can tell, but the tiny hole at the top really hinders my water pressure and the cost is getting ridiculous for not even being a microbe filter.

Very clean, fresh water. Low Flow.
I connected this to the cold water supply of my faucet before the water softener. I have VERY high iron and sulfur in my well water and this filter turns it into clear, fresh water with no detectable odor. It lasts for a very long time and just gets a bit slower with flow after a few months use. It has a flow restrictor built in and it takes probably 2 minutes to fill a gallon jug at 30 or 40 psi. This is a good feature in my experience since the other filters I tried without restriction worked for only a few days before forming channels through them where the unfiltered water would get through. If you need faster flow with this level of filtration, you will need to get a larger model or perhaps run multiple filters in parallel. I like this mounted filter much better than the popular pitcher based filters. It’s cheaper in the long run too.

Wonderful!
Looked at so many water filters online and in the stores. The water here in Florida is just awful and not drinkable because of the smell and taste of chlorine. We even had the dreaded Rainsoft reps come to our house and waste 3 hours of our time, wanting $10,000 for their product!!! Can you believe that? Read the reviews on this one and most were positive and I thought, if it doesn’t work, then I haven’t lost very much.Needed 2 trips to the hardware store, as we have a new house and the under the sink fittings are not compatible with the fixings on this. I had previously taken the fittings off the toilet cisterns to the water inlet, as I fitted some bidet sprays and I was happy to see that those fittings were adaptable to this filter system. So just needed to get some connectors to go with it.Some people complain about the push fittings but if you make sure they are pressed firmly to the end, then they work just fine. I used push fittings on my heating system in England and never had a problem there, so knew these would be ok for this.Followed the instructions and ran the water for a little while, to flush all the debris. I was still not convinced, so checked to see if the smell of chlorine was there. I was just amazed…there was no smell of anything. So tried the taste test and….just incredible! The water was smooth and just great. I am so amazed that something of this price performs so great. We are using just filter that came in the box, so it’s not the best but you could have fooled me! Thoroughly recommend this product and I am so pleased I chose this one.

Perfect Fit, Good Performance
Perfect replacement for the sediment filter in the now discontinued Pentek P250A filter bundle. Smaller diameter allows it to fit in the older Pentek US-1000 under sink filter systems.

Works well but water filtration is much slower then the d-20! My water without filtering is 180ppm and with filter it is 150 ppm
