It’s not large which is fine, that’s not what I wanted anyway. Just beware it’s a small “throw blanket”. It’s very lightweight, not thick and durable like you’d think from the brand Eddie Bauer. I mean it’s nice for around the house, or keep in your car/truck. It’s very soft. I wouldn’t use it for picnics or anything like that outdoors. You could but it’s a little too light I think. I love the style of it.

It’s definitely a “summer” blanket… but it’s snuggly and warm and comfy!!
The description said this is a light blanket, despite the fact that it looks very plush and cuddly. I was hoping for something more “squishy”, but I really like this for summer / fall and am sure it will be a nice “topper” in the winter, too. My cat loves rolling & “making biscuits” on the blanket when she finds it on the couch – and it doesn’t seem to hold onto cat hair when it comes out of the wash the way other Sherpa-blankets do (I always wash in cold & never completely dry in the machine). It’s worth the price and will likely last for several years.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because this design (red check/ plaid) just “doesn’t work” in a lightweight fabric.

Soft, fuzzy, good size for one person
Got this when it was on sale. Worth it! It’s so soft and warm! It’s not heavy. The color and pattern matched what I selected on-line. Definitely a good buy if you get it on sale. I mostly use it for the cold days/nights on the couch.

Way thicker than I realized, with several issues
First of all, I would say the quality okay for $15, especially if you plan to use it for a pet or something. However, there are some things I really dislike about this blanket:1) The artificial shearling is made of microfiber and it feels icky to the touch.2) Literally everything sticks to it and you won’t be able to get it out. Even after washing it still had all kinds of crap embedded in it and looked gross.3) The top part of the blanket is thin fabric that is not sewn in to the thick fleecy part so after washing, the top part and the fleece part get all out of whack with each other and it’s near impossible to align everything back up due to interior static cling between the two layers.In summary, I would not use this blanket for myself but I think it would work well in a dog bed.

I got this as a Christmas gift for someone who needs to keep warm in the winters. Although I should have checked the size and I usually read a lot of the reviews, I saw this and knew it would be warm! Eddie Bauer makes good products so when I gave the person this gift they loved it! It was much smaller than I had hoped. I’m rating it high because it has kept them warm, they can walk around with it on so there is a multi purpose use, I explained how to keep the shape so there is no lumping or shrinkage on the cotton side.For those of you who have had shrinkage: wash in cold water, after washing squeeze or pull around the edges to keep the blanket from lumpy or shrinking areas, then dry on LOW. If no LOW setting I would tumble dry for awhile and then lay to dry. I usually air fluff it too afterwards but not all have to do that.Super warm,super comfy, great gift or for oneself, well made, Sherpa is thin but extremely warm! Thank you!
