They do exactly what they are made to do and they do it well
I’m new and very late to this smart home thing, so I had no reference or basis to use when buying things like this. So I picked these at random. But honestly, I’ve had zero issues with them.Is the interface between Alexa and the Feit all a bit fiddly? Sure. But do they still work with Alexa and do exactly what I need them to do? Absolutely. Without a doubt. And the color change ability is neat and an added perk I guess, just not something I’ll really use a whole lot. But man, they are bright bright bright!!! All my ceiling lights use two bulbs, but just one of these with the white light setting is brighter than both of those together. It’s insanely bright. But it can also be dimmed to ultra low levels.I don’t need a strobe light or random color change routine. I just wanted something that works with Alexa, doesn’t take a degree in rocket surgery to set up, and provide good light. These fit every bit of those requirements. So much so that all my lights in my house are now this brand.Again, I have little experience and these are the ones I picked to start with. But honestly, I don’t feel the need to keep looking for other brands or types. Easy to set up, good value, easy to control using Alexa.

These work great, bright colors. So many options! The app is easy to use, no issue connecting with the bulbs. Color scenes available ready to use. Using them on our outdoor lightpost for Christmas lighting currently! The price for 3 bulbs was a good deal!

I’m light sensitive to LED and can use these bulbs!
For years I have avoided LED bulbs in favor of incandescent because I need the warmer hues or I have migraines. My partner bought these bulbs for a room I rarely use and I was surprised to find that I can tolerate the light they produce. The app is finicky, but has a lot of options. I had one evening where I had to reinstall the app because it kept deleting the lights from the menu options after they had been turned off. It can be hard to change color sometimes without having to turn the light off/on and then go back into the settings. Otherwise, the ability to change the hues and intensity work pretty well and allow me to do fine adjustments so that I can use these lights. The music/party function doesn’t work at all with most of the music I have tried because it causes a weird strobing affect unlike other lights I’ve seen with the same feature. At this point, I’ve installed these bulbs in all the rooms of the house because it’s nice to have something I can use without headaches.

Great for starting off conversion to smart home or just adding a few wifi bulbs to the house
I’ve had these bulbs for about a year now and this is what I have taken away from the experience.As with all technology, there will be a learning curve and you will encounter issues. With that being said, the issues that I did encounter could have been less stressful if I had simply written down personal instructions and planned more ahead of time.There were a few issues with the bulbs themselves…not working properly, not connecting, errors, etc. Those were addressed quickly by the customer service folks and I was promptly sent new devices that worked without issue.I say these are great for people that are new to the smart home world for a few reasons.If you are planning to add a few bulbs to your house…maybe a room or two…these will work just fine. Once you reach the point where you have 25+ smart bulbs though, you will likely run into problems. The bulbs will clog up your network and periodically disconnect causing a headache.I reduced the number of Feit bulbs to 15 and haven’t had a problem since.The other 20 or so lights that were previously Feit lights are now replaced with GE wifi bulbs. GE wifi bulbs, and other brands like Philips are better suited for a person looking to have a large number of bulbs on their network.-Integration with Alexa was easy as could be-Running 15 or so bulbs in a house with wifi placed on the third floor, and blubs located on all three floors…no issue with connectivity (since I reduced from 35)-Brightness is was I would expect from a normal light bulb-I have some Feit recessed lights and I absolutely love themThe last thing I would mention would be to avoid mixing smart bulbs with other brands. That was the most common situation that resulted in problems. If you’re going to have multiple smart bulb brands in your house (like me), make sure you do not cross brands in rooms / groups that you have set up on Alexa…avoid the cross branding and you’ll likely avoid 90% of the problems I ran into early on.

Feit bulbs used to work, now they don’t
Feit bulbs used to work. But now when I try installing them, they do not pair. And, after my pairing attempt, my cellphone loses internet connection and I have to restart my phone. It just never works and shuts down my phone. There is no support number to call, only a list of FAQs none of which applies or solves my problem. I submitted a question to Feit’s customer service explaining it causes my phone to crash: They wrote back not answering the question about my phone, and just resending the instructions that came with the bulb which don’t solve the problem. Even their instructions were not up to date because Feit’s App added different types of bulbs to select but instructions show only one type of bulb to select. Also its privacy policy demands access to my social contacts, my shopping history, even “your property”, and much more. It seems like they are Chinese and just want my info and have totally dropped customer support. You might want to look at other brands.

Al ser mi primer foco inteligente no tengo con que compararlo. Pero cumplió mis expectativas.* Buscaba reemplazar un foco led de 100 W, e ilumina excelente.* Poder disminuir la intensidad de la luz lo hace muy bien, del 1% al 100%.* Poder mover y programar la temperatura de la luz, para que en la noche la luz azul no nos quite el sueño.* El poner colores (RGB) en el foco es un plus, solo que la intensidad de estos es muy baja comparado a la luz normal, podria decir que un 50%. Se siente como un antro.Tiene una especie de parapadeo que casi no se logra notar. De ahi en feura excelente.

Yo ya tenia focos de la marca y la app instalada. Asi, que me resulto muy fácil agregarlos a mi configuración. Sin embargo, si son tus primero focos de este tipo, son fáciles de instalar, la app es fácil de entender y son compatibles con sistemas como Alexa. Lo unico que se puede complicar un poco, es programarlos, para que se enciendan y apaguen en un horario determinado, pero nada que tome mas de 5min.
