Great sensory board for older kids too.
Our 10 y old is on the spectrum and he loves this board. We got it after he kept trying to take the one he was using at OT home with him. For age it says 3+, and definitely toddler can enjoy it too, but if you have older kids with sensory issues who like lights, they may love it as well. There are a few different ways you can use the lights and also combos with music, and three of the light modes are very basic games (just tracing and chasing lights games, nothing complex). The volume is adjustable and includes an option for silent operation. When our guy is having some big feeling and getting a little stressed, he likes to go under a bed or into his sensory tent and just kind of watch the lights in the show mode, or watch them change as he runs his fingers over them in game mode. It can also be used without colors as a background light for tracing. It has two little accessories, but they are not needed to use the board so no worries about them getting lost or broken.
