NOT OILY…YEA!!
Years ago I bought some J&J gel style baby oil because it was *supposed* to be great for moisturizing extra dry skin like mine…Total Fail!I definitely had reservations about purchasing this product but it was highly recommended by a trusted friend. So I figured I’d give it a try… after all, I didn’t have that much to lose & could always donate it to the local women’s shelter if it didn’t work out for me.Lo & behold, this stuff actually worked as a decent moisturizer! Amazingly it wasn’t gooey, sticky, slimey, or oily and it didn’t have an overpowering, fake perfumey stink like so many lotions do!! It spread smoothly with just a little rubbing and soaked right in to my skin. There was an almost immediate visible improvement in my skin texture & the next day my skin still felt soft & smooth. Now, if that was all that happened, I’d say it was good enough.BUT WAIT . . . THERE’S MORE!!!Turns out there was an additional benefit for me. I was originally told this specific J&J baby oil was also good at repelling mosquitoes on babies. So, I figured… hey, if it works for babies then it should work for me, right?! Well, guess what…it seems to actually do that too! I HATE mosquitoes but unfortunately they usually find me irresistibly delicious! However, after I applied this J&J baby oil, I didn’t have any bug problems being outside during the day or the evening…that’s a definite first! Now I’m not saying everyone will have those results & I wouldn’t recommend testing it in the Everglades or the Amazon (the South American jungle that is, not the online store!). But it sure seemed to help me (& a few babies I’ve heard) and, if for no other reason to use it, you’ll have some very soft & smooth skin as a result.

Thick, creamy and a very fresh scent
Amazingly clean smell. This is a very thick cream I’ve been using for almost 20yrs. I loved the pink Baby Creamy Oil, but they quit making it about 10yrs ago. I get complimented on the fresh, clean aloe scent every day (as I use it on my body after showering). I tan, so this is a great product to use daily.

Somewhat works for mosquitos
Mosquitos LOVE me. Too much. I got this in hopes it would deter them without me having to use stinky mosquito spray. To test this out, I put this on and then worked in the garden for a while. Normally I would be covered in mosquitos bites after that. Instead I got 2-3 bites with this. So it definitely helps but is not perfect.

Hate mosquitoes?? Hate smelling like bug spray?? Hate putting harmful chemicals on your body?? Use this instead and I promise the mosquitoes will STAY AWAY FROM YOU!! I don’t know why it works. Science maybe?? Idk but it just does. And, makes your skin soft to boot!!
