So easy!
This mop works great. I’ve read some reviews starting the dry side pushes the dirty water into the wash. That is true however the mop itself is clean after the process witch beats all the mops i’ve used. I’ve owned a few mops the spin mop, steam mops, o-cedar, and a good bucket and rag. Witch is where my opinion is coming from. The steam mop head was always gross so the steam was cleaning while the head was mushing dirt around. The spin mop I used had the separation between the dirty and clean but the mop head always held dirt, O-cedar mop was okay but I didn’t care for having the spin it plus you had to rinse it all the time or it smeared dirt. The good bucket and rag works better then all of the things I listed with the cleanest floor. Witch is funny because you put the dirty cloth into the clean water lol 😂. This mop give me the clean of hands and knees with out the knees! I enjoy it and it works great. Homeschool mom of 4 littles with 3 dogs who likes a clean home. I can’t speak of durability but the cleanliness is nice. This is the first mop I’ve had that after washing the floor once and I go over it again 5 minutes later it isn’t black. If your floor is filthy just mop twice the first time get all the gross second dump and repeat and it will be clean enough to eat off.

Best Mopping System Ever
I’ve tried many different mops/mop systems over the years and either been dissatisfied with them or had them break on me. This includes a couple different designs by O-Cedar (all of which broke), swiffers, and a very well reviewed (and expensive) wet vac by Tineco (which doesn’t work quite as well as a traditional mop and is a pain to clean out between uses). Nothing has beaten this for simplicity and elegance of design, ease of use, ease of cleanup after use, reusability, and durability. It’s such a simple but brilliant design. First of all, let me address the only major complaint I’ve seen in other reviews, which is that you’re mopping with dirty water. I’m not sure what world these people have been living in, but 90% of mopping systems do not separate clean and dirty water. This is how things have been done for centuries, how it is STILL done in professional settings such as hospitals, schools, factories, etc. and it seems to work just fine. Yes, there are systems now that do it, but they are all VERY new, in the minority, and always seem overly complicated to me with too many points of failure or other issues, or they are very expensive. To hold that as a standard upon which any mop system that DOESN’T do this isn’t worth consideration and gets negative reviews is quite ridiculous. I think this comes down to people “feeling” icky about it rather than it actually being an issue with getting a truly clean floor, unless you believe we never had clean floors until 2021 (earliest I could find a design that did this, as of 2025 there are a few different options out there by different companies). That said, if this is very important to you as a feature, you can simply add the wash water to the drying side and basically use the unit in reverse and it works exactly how you would expect. I don’t use it that way because this is not a feature I care about, but I’ve tried it and it works fine that way. Now, on to the things I like. The bucket is very simple, thick molded plastic with nothing on it that seems prone to breaking. The mechanism for removing the lid is very simple to use and very secure. There are no weird crevasses that make it hard to rinse off the lid and bucket after using it. The bucket does a great job scraping off any hair or other debris from the mophead on the way out. The pads are washable and reusable and the way they fit onto the mop head is incredible secure and nothing seems like it would be prone to breaking. They even smartly put the tag on the opposite side from the hooks so that you can pull on the tag to get the pad nice and tight before pressing it down. Now that’s attention to detail! The mop itself is good quality, I’m glad they opted for sections that screw into each other rather than something that collapses down (like O-Cedar mop handles) because in my experience that design always breaks, I’ve had several different tools from various manufacturers with that design of handle, and they’ve ALL broken eventually. It’s not quite as convenient, but I prefer it for the durability. I like that you can get the mophead more dry by passing it through the wringer multiple times, which makes it then suitable for use on walls, tables, etc. I like to shorten the handle and use it to clean my living room table as well as a big table on my front porch. I also use it for the tile in my shower. Overall I couldn’t be happier with this mop. There’s not a single thing I would change and I truly don’t think it could be improved upon.

Great Self-Cleaning MopI really like this mop because it is very easy to use. The bucket has two sides: one for washing and one for drying. The wash side removes dirt and hair, and the dry side squeezes out the water well.I don’t need to touch the mop with my hands, which is very convenient. It cleans my floors fast and does not drip water. It works great on tile and wood floors.I recommend this mop for anyone who wants cleaning to be quick and easy.

Perfect-ish (with qualifiers). Recommend 10/10 for independent folks with disabilities.
I’ve used this three times, now. I loved it straight out of the box despite a little operational frustration (would have given it 5/5). Second time, I wondered if I was a little drunk the first time because it just wasn’t operating like a dream like it did straight out of the box (would have given it a 3/5). Third time’s the charm and I figured out a few of the necessary tricks to overcome its shortcomings and what you should know to decide, landing in a 4/5.Things to know:1) stretch the mop cover TIGHTLY. The directions point out that if there is a wrinkle, it will hinder performance. Second use, I put the clean cover on with no wrinkles but it wrinkled during use in the drying bin. Pretend you’re arm wrestling with a child who is at least ten years old when you put a clean cover on.2) have a dry cloth handy just in case (see below)3) While it is really low-profile and can fit behind furniture for walls, you have to be the Pink Panther, able to flatten yourself and work your tippie toes like a centipede of you think you can reach all the way. It’s useful. It doesn’t perform miracles. There are some annoying design flaws, some necessary to the performance and some maybe they could work on. I’ve decided it’s still not a deal breaker.1) The “this side up” sign isn’t a suggestion. The magnet only allows one direction for dip. Unfortunately, this means that you get a lot of wet, drippy foam and about an inch of still-dirty mop head on the side that is up, but the snap-to magnet does make it easy to rinse and squish out. I wish the magnet was bi-directional so you could flip it and rinse/dry the other end but I don’t think this can be fixed and still be so easy to dip and dry, so I don’t consider it something they can work on the design (same for #2 also dealing with the magnet) 4/52) The same magnet that makes it easy to rinse and squish ends up maddening you if you’re scrubbing walls because just when you’re trying to angle along a corner or at the ceiling, it decides to snap-in and you have to stop and use your hands to reposition the mop head because the magnet is so strong, it won’t just let you tap it against the wall to snap it back off. 3/53) This one is 2-fold and something they can work on. Also not a deal-breaker but something users should know: a) the “max” libe is actually the “absolutely fill this full” line. If you have a small job and figure you can do with 1/2 bucket, don’t try. Because you can’t reverse the mop head to rinse and dry, you’ll see a #2 but 10x worse. Maybe they could make the bucket a little taller than the mop-head is, and then these things wouldn’t be an issue and b) Go slowly with the dip and dry. Very slowly. If you’re using a cleaner in the water and you work too quickly, it foams and slops over the lip. They could fix this easily by increasing the lip on the top of the bucket by an inch, without sacrificing the things that make this mop (moop?) special.Light weight, easy-to-use, low profile, easy storage, versatile

Details are well-thought of, like the slots to insert the pad so it doesn’t slip, the extra plastic panel that helps squeeze out water, and the drying section. Thanks for helping me clean 🙂

This product is not a Joymoop brand mop, and it comes with 2 pads not 4. Recommend you avoid.
