I’m really happy with this kettle! The Nueve&Five 1.7L Electric Kettle is bigger than I expected (in a good way!) it easily makes enough hot water for everyone in the house. This is a great size with wide open mouth for ease of cleaning. It heated up quickly for French press on our camping trip and I’m sure it will make many a hot tea and cocoa cups.

Happy with this kettle – no complain
It works as function and boiled a lot more water than I used to. I love the large opening for ease of cleaning. The instruction said that the hardwater would caused a build up which did happen. But the instruction provided a way to clear out the buildup and it worked as expected. After that initial time, it doesn’t seem to reoccur – which is great.The stainless steam interior do make me feel the water is better since it’s not in any direct contact with the plastic. The plastic do make it cool to the touch so it’s relatively safe. It boils quickly and so far still functioning as expected after months of having it.I also love it’s clean line and calm color on the kitchen counter. It goes with everything.

I ordered this yesterday as a prime day deal. It had almost 300 ratings at 4.5 stars.It is a very cheap feeling plastic.The lever doesn’t stay down, so it will not boil water unless I hold it down. It clicks back up immediately. It feels like if I press harder, the whole kettle could break – that’s how cheap this feels.Video was after I held the button down to induce a boil – just to see if it would. I pushed the button down about 10 times and then I decided to take this video. It finally stayed down on its own. Literally after 100 tries.
