UNPREDICTABLE
This opener worked fine on large bottles, but when I got to smaller caps, such as those on bottled water, it didn’t work at all, and I had to switch to a different opener. I do like the can opener, but this really isn’t versatile enough if you want just one “tough bottle opener” to meet your needs. I really didn’t need another one that was not as good as my original opener.

Heaven Sent
This is “Heaven Sent” for me. I have always had weak wrists, so I had to ask my husband to open most jars for me. Sadly, I lost my husband of 60 years last year and I had a hard time opening most jars. This works like a jewel, I can now open any kind of jar, large or small, myself.

grip strength
What you see is what you get. I’m 83 years old and my grip strength is different than my hand strength. I will say this about the product. It could fit around most jars, but you have to have a fairly decent grip strength to be able to squeeze the product together to open up the jars. So grip strength is necessary.
