perfect as a bike bag! Not as beefy as other name brands, but more flexible
I was looking for a waterproof bag to stash snacks and a small face towel, as they’d get all sweaty while stuffed in my pockets. Bike wallets were overkill and more designed for off the bike stops, and ziplocs were too flimsy. Had the idea of a resulable silicone bag, so bought a Stasher and an Oxo to compare.I prefer the oxo bag in almost every way. The Stasher is definitely beefier and feels more durable, but it makes the opening smaller and harder to use, and the oxo material has more flexibility, which make it easier to cram in a pocket. The Stasher material was just a hair and dust magnet for some reason, while I haven’t had the issue as nearly badly with the oxo. Stasher’s design also has a seam all the way around, so it made the bag bigger than necessary. The oxo has no seam at the bottom, so it’s a flatter bottom. I do think Stasher’s seal is stronger, but it also requires more force to close and open, while I think the oxo strikes a good balance. I sealed it (one-handed) and ran it under water for a minute, and there were no leaks. It fits everything I need, and could accommodate my phone in an emergency (iphone 12, it’s probably too small for a max or larger phone).Not trying to bash on Stasher specifically, I have a few of their other bags and they’re excellent quality, but for a lightweight, flexible, waterproof bag, I think the oxo is definitely better thought out.

Fantastic supple silicone bag for dough.
I make homemade pizza dough and needed a reusable silicone bag to store dough in the fridge. This bag is fantastic for dough. It’s much more supple than other silicone bags, which allows it to expand if the dough expands in the fridge.It seals well and is easy to open and close. Ziplock bags keep the moisture in a little more if you need to store anything for longer periods. But for short-term storage (like a week) it’s fantastic. The tiny difference in performance is totally worth it to have a reusable bag that doesn’t leach plastic into your food.The other great thing about this bag is you can roll it up to store it. This is the only silicone bag I’ve tried that allows that. That means you can store this in a drawer with your bags.It also doesn’t have a seam, which is a point of failure for other silicone bags.The only challenge is drying it. You need to dry it with the bag open. But it flops over which makes it challenging. So I use a bottle or something long to hang it over so it can dry. It’s a little awkward, but it works.It’s pricey but I’m thinking of getting more bags in different sizes because the quality is top-notch. I love Oxo’s quality. I’ve been using this for almost 5 months and this looks like it’ll serve me for a long time.If you need to store dough or simply want to roll up your silicone bag to store it in a drawer, this is the bag to get!

A big Improvement over all others I’ve used
This is the best function, sizing, sealing closure of all the silicone storage bags I have tried over several years while doing away with plastic use in our kitchen and food purchases. The fact that you can use it in the freezer is a very big plus. The size assortment and the shapes are much more helpful than what was available before I found these. I love the stand up half gallon container but wish that it were easier to keep the top edge open while filling it. Small price to pay for the capacity and the utility of this line of products. I had to throw away so many plastic slide closures that splintered over time and the bags they were meant for. I will be buying more pieces from this line and phasing out a number of older items I have used before them.

These bags are excellent and are really well made – which you would expect for the cost(they aren’t cheap). On the other hand I think these bags are so well made, with thick silicon walls and chunky, easy to use seals that they may literally outlast me.They are dishwasher safe and so can be turned inside out and put on the top rack but they are so easy to clean by hand that I wouldn’t consider it necessary that often.I have had lots of OXO products and not only do I highly rate their products but I have also had a problem with something in the past and a few emails later they sent me a replacement.I am a huge fan of these reusable bags and can highly recommend.Pro-Tip: when washing in the dishwasher, turn the bag inside out and seal it(you can do this) to prevent water pooling in the bag.
