Peeling Plastic, QA Rejects Being Resold
I bought these a few years ago and was very satisfied. However, the recent batch I purchased in 2023 was terrible! They were so bad that it seems like they are actively reselling the QA rejects or the ones that have been returned. Of my 60 or so bins I purchased, at least 20 of them had plastic edges that weren’t fully formed and peeling off. They seem to be literally the QA rejects from the assembly line that they are reselling instead of throwing away. I resent wasting my time repackaging them, filing the refund and going to the UPS store to return them. I recently bought bins from Really Good Stuff as well. While more expensive, they were better quality. Lakeshore also has quality items. It seems like Amazon’s quality is getting worse and worse with sellers reselling QA rejects like these, or other old or expired items. I love Amazon’s convenience but more and more I’m seeing things like this and my trust is waning.

Item Received Is Not As Shown
Disappointed. The bins are shown with white/clear pockets that are used to label the contents of the bin.These bins do NOT come with the clear pocket. Had to order separately, so that I can properly use them in my classroom.

I bought two sets of these. Both packages/ boxes were damaged. One box I had to completely return because all six were damaged And the other box had one that was damaged but I needed them asap so kept the 1 box we’re 5/6 we’re ok.

I purchased these over others because it says the “Included Components: Label Pockets (6), Book Bin (6).” However, there are no label pockets. False Information/Advertising.

Bad quality and broken parts

Not Delivered on the Due Date
Per tracking, “Delivered September 14 Package was left inside the residence’s mailbox” DID NOT RECEIVE PACKAGE. If company uses USPS they are going the cheapest route for delivery. Therefore, this rating is reflective of inaccurate delivery date. Also, as a teacher, the boxes are not very sturdy. I had to put books horizonal rather that vertical. The books fall out of the boxes if they do not have a balanced weight.

I like these book bins. They are a nice size. You can place books on their sides so the bins do not tip over–yay! The bins can connect so they are a solid unit. The color is nice. I am happy with this purchase. They look nice in my classroom.

Did the job for the year
These have lasted all year in my classroom. However, I am starting to see some areas of strain on the plastic corners (the blue is turning white at the pressure) . I feel they’ll start to crack or break after another year of use.

I initially bought these to store books and files in, but now I use them for everything. They make a great bread storage in my cupboard – i can stack three loved of bread in a row in them. I use them for our vitamins, school supplies, and even more. They are really sturdy and come with a movable adhesive pocket to put your labels inside. The teal is a nice colour and goes with everything in our house.
